At IPS we take Safeguarding and Child protection very seriously and we employ strong policies and procedures to ensure that every child, regardless of their age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation, has a right to equal protection from harm. IPS embraces a student-centered approach. We promote Positive Behaviour Procedures, which are reinforced by applications that reward good behavior and allow for constructive criticism and feedback from teachers and leadership.
The school also features the IPS Honors program for exceptional students, our Safe Touch Policy, which provides a means of calming, soothing, and containing distress for a frightened, angry, or sad child, and aggressive Cyber Security programs, which protect our infrastructure and students? images. The IPS School Health Service provides nursing care via an in-house Nurse and care facility. All IPS staff members complete basic first-aid training and are subjected to a criminal background check.
